Today, I want to shift my attention to the other star of the show - the Groom!

If you have visited my booth at any of the recent bridal expos, these may ring a bell but while they are simple, they will make a huge impact on your big day.

This fall I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this beautiful couple, Rachel & Taylor, among the beautiful fall colours near their home in the Kitchener Waterloo area. As part of their engagement portraits, they wanted to include to very important furry friends…their pups!

One thing that never gets old, seeing past clients. I love to reconnect, to share new stories and to capture new memories.
This year I was blessed to photograph this beautiful family for the 3rd straight year.
Watching the girls grow, chatting with Mom & Dad…it fills my heart.

Earlier this fall I had the pleasure of spending an evening with the beautiful Danielle and her fiance Luis.
We spent some time laughing, sharing stories, and exploring Westminister Ponds here in London, Ontario as we created their engagement portraits to celebrate their love and how its continued to strengthen even among these unusual times.

This evening…it couldn’t have been much better.

Months, many months thanks to COVID, in the making. I was thrilled to spend the evening with Cassandra & Craig at Fanshawe Conservation Area celebrating their love.

In a time that hasn’t been kind to so many, watching these to smile and laugh together was so beautiful. (Even as they started debating dinner options)

I was thrilled to work with the lovely ladies of Unmistakably You, Amy & Christie, as they prepared for the launch of new services and their Bar Bash event this summer.

Join me in congratulating them on their awesomeness and innovation as we raise a glass to weddings to come.

COVID may have changed the plan, but these two never gave up on the idea of celebrating their I do’s this summer with the people who meant the most at their side.

It’s a title I proudly wear every single day, and in that I definitely found a kindred spirit in Rebecca.

I first met Rebecca, gosh…. years ago, when I was still pretty new on the London wedding scene as a photographer and she was going full speed ahead as the wedding planner and wedding decorator behind High Gloss Weddings.

To say that we have both grown and evolved since then might be the understatement of the year!

The first time I met these two at starbucks I was immediately struck by the way they looked at each other, they way they finished each others thoughts, and how relaxed they were together. You could tell they not only loved it each other but genuinely enjoyed every minute they spent together.

As we chatted I loved their stories, their enthusiasm and their easy laughter together. So when COVID delayed their session I was more than a little disappointed.

Today I’m thrilled to share not only a sneak peek of their engagement images but a few snippets of their love story in their own words too.

Okay can we talk about how sweet these two are?

Their love is literally the cutest thing. It’s a story book romance. I mean, they met in high school and quickly knew they wanted to spend their lives together. Does it get much better?

Ashley & Marcel came to their shoot excited but a little nervous too. But it didn’t take long for them to relax into each others company and have some fun.

In June I joined Tim & Jim on their beautiful rural property outside Guelph to photograph their engagement session. I am sooo excited to be able to share their images today!
