Sneak Peek - An Evening Engagement Session with Marcel & Ashley
Okay can we talk about how sweet these two are?
Their love is literally the cutest thing. It’s a story book romance. I mean, they met in high school and quickly knew they wanted to spend their lives together. Does it get much better?
Ashley & Marcel came to their shoot excited but a little nervous too. But it didn’t take long for them to relax into each others company and have some fun.
I loved chatting with them about stories from their relationship, their favourite things to do together, and the challenges of choosing where to go for dunner.
I am so excited for them for their September wedding day so they can make their love story, more than 6 years in the making, official.
Now I’m going to turn it over to Marcel (MJ) and Ashley to share a little more about their relationship.

How long have you known each other?
6.5 years -
How did you meet?
We met in high school! Ashley in grade 10 and myself in grade 11. After all the initial nerves of asking her out on our first date, the rest is history! Next up, married life!! So excited for our next adventures together. -
When did you know your fiance was 'the one'?
Ashley: When I started feeling sad (after the first couple months) and like I missed him whenever we had to leave each other.
MJ: Good question. I know it doesn't sound like much but when I knew that I could be myself and that she loved me for me meant alot. I have a difficult time opening up and truly being myself around other people -
What is your favourite thing about your fiance?
Ashley: He is an amazing listener and always keeps me calm. Definitely the more rationale and level headed on in our relationship!
MJ: She is very caring for everyone she loves -
What do you love to do together?
Movies, food, walks, relaxing, cooking -
What are you most looking forward to for your big day?
Making everything we’ve know for the past 6 years official! -
What was your favourite part of having your portraits taken?
How natural it felt. Both is us were a little worried it could be awkward as we both aren’t very photogenic, but Rebecca was great and helped with the nerves and getting over that awkward stage!
