This is a difficult time for so many, including entrepreneurs and small business owners like myself.

Our normal way of operating. Our day to day business has disappeared suddenly with no way to know when we can pick back up again.

This morning was a sad one for me. I was sad to have to reach out to clients today to cancel engagement sessions and branding sessions for April. I sent out individual emails to everyone who had a session booked this month.

What crazy times we live in. As we all settle into our new normal, I wanted to touch base with you.

How are you doing? like really?

I have been thinking about so many of my current clients, my past clients, the people I have been blessed to meet at bridal shows and more. You guys are my community and you mean the world to me.

After more than 10 years in business, and many more navigating life, relationships and mental health, I've learned a few things. One of the biggest things I've learned - I love to serve others, to support others, and to help them on their way to achieving their big goals!

I have been keeping a close eye on situations, the spread of the virus, and the recommendations of not only the government but also my medical professionals. Based on this advice, Rebecca Nash Photography has suspended all in person services while I (Rebecca) am in self isolation until further notice

Yesterday on Day 2 of the Brand Refresh Launch Party I got really vulnerable and shared a secret I never thought I would share publicly. Not too long ago, like a couple of weeks ago, I was someone who tried to hide anything that wasn't inspiring, sparkly, or perfect about myself and what I do.

This fall I had the opportunity to work with a small team on a collaboration wedding inspiration at a brand new wedding venue just outside of London. Church off 22 is a beautiful new venue in Ilderton that incorporates the best of a beautiful worship space, a bright beautiful hall, and some gorgeous outdoor space away from the busy city. It’s definitely worth the short drive from London to see it in person.

There’s something I love about a bride and groom (or bride and bride, groom and groom…love is love baby) seeing each other for the first time as they walk down the aisle. It’s beautiful!

It’s also sometimes stressful - you have everyone’s eyes on you and you can’t have that time to take it all in and embrace each other.

Over the last year I have learned so much about what a Doula is and how they work thanks to Shannon Moyer-Semenyei and Kerri Dowling of Sweet Stellas Birth and Post-Partum Doula’s based here in London, Ontario.

It’s been an amazing experience to immerse myself in learning about the work of these amazing ladies in support of mama’s and mama’s to be.

In some ways, Dayna was not my typical personal branding portrait client.

No matter how you look at it, these two showcase big hearts and a great sense of humour.
